# Invite friends and earn credits

Click **Invite & Earn** in the Contextli app and share your referral link. When a friend signs up with it, you both get 200 credits, and you can invite as many friends as you like.

## Share your link from the desktop app

1. At the bottom of the sidebar, click **Invite & Earn**.
2. Under **Your Referral Link**, copy the link.
3. Send it however you like, or use **Share via**: **Email**, **WhatsApp**, **Twitter** or **LinkedIn**.

## Share from your phone or browser

- **Mobile app:** tap **Invite & Earn** in the menu and share your link.
- **Chrome extension:** open the popup and click **Invite a friend, you both get 200 credits** to copy your link.

## What your friend does

1. Opens your link and signs up for Contextli.
2. If they install the app first, they can paste your link in the optional referral link field on the sign-in screen.

Once the referral completes, 200 credits are added to your account and 200 to theirs.

## Rules

- Each new account can use one referral.
- You cannot use your own referral link.
- There is no limit on how many friends you invite.
- Referral credits work like any other credits. See [How credits work](/articles/how-credits-work).

## Troubleshooting

- **Credits did not arrive:** check that your friend used your link or entered it when signing up. Then email support@contextli.com with both email addresses.
- **"You have already used a referral":** that account already has a referral, so another one cannot be added.
